Position: Implementation Manager

The primary responsibility for this position is to provide successful remote and onsite learning for clients throughout North America, including system set up and project management. Please note: this is a hands-on position, not a team-manager position, reporting directly to the VP Client Services. Our implementation managers play a critical role in building long-term relationships with our valued clients.
Position Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage customer projects end-to-end from Sales hand-off to Go-Live deployment

- Learn proactively about our product implementation process and service standards, and the eye care domain

- Guide clients through change management and learning services to use the various features of our application

- Coordinate post-sales activities and manage a timeline for completion of the implementation phase before a client goes live

- Travel to client sites to perform learning sessions and Go-Live support services

- Help with assigned QA tasks and special projects

- Work outside business hours per customer /project needs

- Long periods of time on the phone including post Go-Live support
Qualifications

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and team-oriented environment

- Ability and willingness to travel freely throughout North America on regular basis

- Good PC skills with a desire to learn new software and training methods

- Previous software training experience as a project lead

- Willingness to work after hours and occasional statutory holidays

- Exposure to medical office experience, EHRs, or US clients is considered a valuable asset

Position: Developer

This is a full-time permanent position for an experienced and creative application developer.
Position Duties & Responsibilities

- Develop new code

- Analyze and fix defects

- Provide detailed and accurate estimates of development delivery

- Ensure delivery of solutions on time.
Qualifications

- Background in developing user interfaces

- Background in coding large database applications and system analysis

- Minimum 5 years experience in developing and troubleshooting complex database
applications

- C++ coding experience

- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Development Tools

- Working knowledge of ODBC, XML, .NET and Crystal Reports are definite assets

- Broad experience with client/server database technology such as SQL Server and Caché

- Knowledge of health care domain is a significant asset

Position: Senior Technical Specialist

This is a full-time permanent position for an experienced and well rounded IT specialist. The successful candidate will have training in a combination of hardware, server, networks, applications and database support. 

We are looking for an IT/database expert and an exceptional troubleshooter who lives, breathes, eats and sleeps IT, a true technical guru who brings solid hands-on experience and is a self-dependent hard worker able to resolve complex issues within a timely fashion.
Position Duties & Responsibilities

- Ensure the stable operations of both in-house and client support. 

- Planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all networks, servers, hardware, software and database functions. 

- Analyze and resolve end-user computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and without hesitation. 

- Handle troubleshooting and complex issues and work with both the development and support teams.  
Qualifications

- Degree or diploma from a recognized institution

- 8+ years experience working with hardware, software, databases, networks and servers

- Experience with Windows-based technologies and environments (Windows Servers, Applications, SQL Server, Active Directory, etc)

- Expert knowledge with SQL database or Caché database
- Exceptional troubleshooting ability

- Exceptional database knowledge with ability to troubleshoot all prospective problems and scenarios

- Experience working in a 24/7 environment and comfortable working around the clock as needed

- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with all personality types

- Experience working within a multi-platform environment is an asset

- Citrix experience an asset

- Experience within a health care environment is an asset
